So I may or may not have taken forever to accept that summer is finally over! I'm truly going to miss the long, hot summer days of sunshine and burning my booty on the leather seats of my car! But the seasons must go on! Soon, I'll be heading out of the country to join my husband in Greece, but before I do, I'm hitting the refresh button!
This summer has been quite the experience! Now it's time to recharge and here are five ways we can do it!
1. Re-Vision Your Goals
I've revisited my New Years resolutions and I've made progress, but still have a few goals I can take on before the new year. If you need a bit of direction, Myleik, creator of CurlBOX, has the perfect printable to get you on your way! Her podcasts are amazing and she's created worksheets as great tools for her readers. I personally loved "Maintaining Momentum" and creating my "re-vision" board! You can get your copy HERE.
2. Reset Your Body with a Juice Cleanse
One of my favorite parts of the summer was all the food! I've had my share of southern favorites and BBQ specials in the last three months, so I'm trying my first 2-Day juicing cleanse from Happy Apple Juicery really soon! I'm not looking to lose weight, but just give my body a break from all the meat and everything else I've eaten for the last few months. I know that I may struggle some, but hopefully the rewards will be worth it! And of course I will blog about it all.
3. Revamp Your Fitness Routine
Try a new workout! I've decided to add 20 minutes of yoga to my morning routine. I've started with beginners' flows I've found on YouTube and I can feel my flexibility changing! I also want to try a spin class and maybe take advantage of the cool weather with some outside workouts. Whatever you do, try to find something to keep you moving!
4. Rearrange Your Closet
The new season calls for a change in wardrobe and maybe a little shopping!! Sometimes a cute new outfit can really set your whole mood for the day and the same thing applies for my outfits in the gym! New colors and styles always give me that extra boost of confidence to sweat it out during my workout!
These are just a few ways to hit that refresh button for the new fall season! How are you bringing in the new season?
