A day in Burano, Italy
Burano, Italy is one of the most colorful islands in Italy, and it is absolutely gorgeous! The girls and I decided to head to Burano for lunch and of course, take lots of pictures! We opted to take a water bus since it's just 20 euro for an all day pass. Unfortunately, the busyness of tourist season makes even the shortest of trips take hours--3 hours to be exact. In hindsight, we probably would've splurged a little more on a water taxi to get to at least get to the island a lot quicker.
Nonetheless, when we arrived, we grabbed lunch at Riva Rosa. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were still able to get a table right before it got busy. The pasta with clams and fried calamari were delicious! Afterwards, we spent the rest of our time exploring and taking lots of pictures! You can see them all below!
It is an incredible blessing to have the opportunity to experience trips like this. It's even better being with friends who have such positive vibes and a need for laughter! This has, by far, been my favorite place to live in a basketball season. I've got to make the most out of my last couple of weeks here!
